Matthew is the Managing Shareholder and President of Lex Concordia, PLLC. Matthew gives legal advice to entrepreneurs and their companies. His practice provides a broad range of corporate legal services from startup counseling and the drafting and negotiating of contracts to protecting his clients’ interests in the courtroom.
Matthew received his B.B.A., magna cum laude, in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D./M.B.A. from Tulane University, where he served as a managing editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law and as President of the Freeman Consulting Group.
Matthew has handled numerous domestic and international legal disputes, and he is able to provide value for his clients through his deep understanding of legal systems and business cultures outside of the United States. He has studied law at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, the University of Cambridge, and the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris. He has also studied business at Tsinghua University in China and EGADE del Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico.
Prior to founding Lex Concordia, Matthew worked in the business world consulting with companies of all sizes on projects ranging from a company in the automotive industry undergoing management change to a startup seeking its very first client. Matthew knows the challenges of running a business, and he always seeks to add value for his business clients in ways that extend beyond simply handling their legal problems.
